The Experience

Conversation

This conversation gives us a moment to connect and begin piecing together what we need to design a custom session that tells your story. We’ll talk about what you’re seeking in a project, who will be in the photographs, and where the session will take place. Our chat will also gather some history about the cherished bond between you and your dog. I want to hear how you are together, from the warmth of those slow afternoon naps on the couch to those spirited tug of war games in the backyard.

Session

Your session will be calm, gentle, and full of heart. We’ll meet in the comfort of your own home or in your favorite place and devote one and a half hours to honoring your friendship on film. There’s usually a lot of laughter, quiet reflection, and a deep gratitude for the moment.

Prints

Once your medium format film has been carefully processed, we’ll walk through a virtual gallery of these collected moments to choose which you would like professionally printed, matted, or framed using the highest quality archival materials. Ultimately, what’s created isn’t just beloved art for your home; it’s an expressive heirloom that celebrates your journey.

The Value of Prints

Do you remember a particular framed photograph that hung on the wall in your childhood home? Was there an album you always loved turning the pages of when you visited your grandparents? There’s something special about holding a memory in your hands or experiencing it as a heartfelt part of your own home. The archival quality of a print is important when it comes to honoring your history; your photographs should last so they can be connected with and treasured for generations. While digital images degrade over time and easily get corrupted, the printed photograph has consistently demonstrated itself as an enduring heirloom that keeps memories alive.

This is why printing, matting, and framing truly complete the artistic process. In this final step, we’ll select custom pieces to be expertly made by my professional lab. Your fine art photographic prints are created with the highest-quality materials and properly produced with sincere attention to detail. When you visit with your framed piece as you sip your morning coffee or reminisce with a loved one as you point out details to each other in your unique photo album you’ll be so glad you celebrated your journey with prints.

Celebrate your special bond.
